Event Summary
As a special edition of the weekly DeepLearning paper reading sessions conducted by researchers at Matsuo Lab, “ICML Summer Reading Session” will be held on the following dates with guest participation.
Members of the Matsuo Lab’s research units will speak at each session in accordance with the theme of the session.
Guest presentation slots will be available, so you are welcome to attend not only as an auditor but also as a speaker.
(Transportation will be provided for those who are willing to speak and attend offline.)
A reception will be held after the reading.
We hope that this will be an opportunity for you to learn about the Matsuo Lab’s research themes, initiatives, research environment, etc. Please feel free to join us.

About Matsuo-Iwasawa Laboratory
The Matsuo-Iwasawa Lab has been conducting research on the development of fundamental algorithms such as deep generative models and deep reinforcement learning, research on image recognition, natural language processing, and robotics, and research on world models that form the core of these technologies. We now have more than 10 full-time researchers, and 14 papers have been accepted to top conferences and journals such as ICML, ICLR, EMNLP, NAACL, and ICRA in FY2023. (For a list of recently accepted papers, click here.) Recently, we have also established a Brain-Inspired Intelligence team, and are conducting research and development aimed at fundamentally eliminating the limitations of deep learning.
