東京大学大学院工学系研究科 松尾・岩澤研究室の松尾 豊教授が、国連総会により、Independent International Scientific Panel on AI（AIに関する独立国際科学パネル） のメンバーとして任命されました。任期は3年間です。
本パネルについて
Independent International Scientific Panel on AI は、国連総会の決議に基づいて設立された、AIに関する最初の独立した国際科学パネルです。
本パネルは、AI技術がもたらす機会、リスク、影響等に関して科学的根拠に基づいた評価を提供する役割を担うために設置されました。年次報告書などを通じて、AI の科学的評価と国際社会の対話の基礎につながる成果を生み出すことが期待されています。パネルのメンバーは、2,600件以上の応募の中から選ばれた40名で構成されます。
